Erin Jackson , Fri., June 24th - Sun., June 26th

“Washington has been the home of a number of very good comics and a few great ones (Wanda Sykes, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Martin Lawrence). Erin Jackson could be next in line.” – The Washington Post Armed with a megawatt smile and a pocket full of dreams, Erin Jackson is poised to conquer the world of stand-up. In fact, she’d probably be a superstar by now if her friends and family hadn’t spent so many years hating on her dreams and stealing her joy. Since first making a name for herself at colleges and east coast comedy clubs, Erin’s conversational style and relatable humor have helped to propel her onto the national stage. Erin was a semifinalist on the 2014 reboot of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” and co-hosts “Exhale,” a provocative and candid talk series, now in its third season on Earvin “Magic” Johnson’s ASPiRE television network. Erin has performed stand-up on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” OWN’s “Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” AXS TV’s “Gotham Comedy Live” and TV Guide Network’s “Standup in Stilettos.” She has appeared on VH-1 and TV Guide Network as a panelist on pop-culture countdown shows such as “40 Greatest Hip Hop Songs of the 90’s” and “Best Movie Kisses,” and her writing has been featured in The Washington Post and on NYTimes.com.

Cory Michaelis, Fri., July 1st - Sun., July 3rd

A teacher by day and comic by night, Cory Michaelis keeps his act edgy enough to keep the audience from feeling like they’re in his 10th grade History class. He cleverly tells short stories and jokes that try to get audiences to think but are silly and absurd as well. Cory is a regular in all of the clubs in the Pacific Northwest and has headlined clubs, colleges, casinos, and weird bars all over the country. He didn’t win the 2013 World Series of Comedy (semi-finals), the 2012 Seattle International Comedy Competition (SICC), or the 2014 Tacoma Comedy Contest (2nd) but he took another crack at the SICC and made the 2014 finals. Cory is proud to say he has brought a great comedy show to his hometown of Everett, Washington as host and producer of “Everett Comedy Night”, a premier comedy show that is in its third year of monthly sold out shows.
